About Rosanna Y. de la Cruz:

Last year we lost a friend, a powerhouse and champion of women, at much too young an age. Rosanna Y. de la Cruz was a force of nature. Through her work as a dynamic recruiter and a tireless advocate and negotiator, she helped hundreds of women find roles that provided opportunities for visible and significant contributions. She cared passionately about the companies she worked for as she did about the individual she recruited. Outspoken, fearless and with no time to waste, she told it like it was. She cared deeply for the world around her, and was most passionate about helping women achieve their goals. She believed deeply in the mission of Chica Project.

About Chica Project and the Scholarship:

Chica Project’s mission is to close the opportunity divide for Latinas by empowering them with the skills, confidence and network necessary to thrive personally and professionally. We will carry on Rosanna’s legacy of hard work and dedication to others by creating the “Full of Life Scholarship” at Chica Project, in her name. This scholarship will provide funds to young women at Chica Project who are moving onto secondary education and are in need of additional support not covered by existing scholarship.
